# Subway Princess Runner Controls Explained

Subway Princess Runner is a simple endless runner game with easy swipe-based touch controls. It uses a 3-lane track system, and all actions are controlled by gestures on your screen. The goal is to dodge trains, barriers, and obstacles while collecting coins and gems.

Core Touch Controls (Mobile)

- **Swipe Left**: Move your princess to the left lane
- **Swipe Right**: Move your princess to the right lane
- **Swipe Up**: Jump over trains, boxes, and tall barriers
- **Swipe Down**: Slide / roll under low hanging signs and bars
- **Double Tap on Screen**: Activate your hoverboard (skateboard)

### Hoverboard Rule
The hoverboard protects you from **one crash**. If you hit an obstacle while riding it, the board breaks, and your run continues. It is your best safety tool for tricky crowded sections. You need to collect or buy hoverboards before you can use them.

Power-Ups

You do not tap buttons for power-ups. Just run into them on the track to activate instantly:
- Magnet: Pull nearby coins automatically
- Super Sneakers: Jump higher
- Jetpack: Fly above the track to collect coins safely
- 2x Multiplier: Double your score for a limited time

PC / Emulator Keyboard Controls

If you play this game on BlueStacks or another emulator, use arrow keys:
- Left Arrow → Move left
- Right Arrow → Move right
- Up Arrow → Jump
- Down Arrow → Slide
- Spacebar → Activate hoverboard

Quick Beginner Tips for Controls

1. Keep your eyes looking forward, not at your character. This helps you spot obstacles early.
2. Stay in the middle lane whenever possible. It gives you two escape directions (left or right).
3. If you jump by mistake, swipe down quickly to drop back down early.
4. Save hoverboards for busy parts with many trains, do not waste them on empty tracks.
5. The game speed slowly increases as you run farther, so your swipes need to be faster later on.
6. The game works offline, and you can adjust sensitivity in settings if swipes feel too slow or too sensitive.

Common Mistakes New Players Make

- Swiping too late and crashing into trains
- Using the hoverboard when there are no obstacles nearby
- Confusing sliding and jumping: slide only for low obstacles, jump for tall ones
- Making short, weak swipes that do not switch lanes properly

Quick Cheat Sheet

✅ Swipe left / right = change lanes
✅ Swipe up = jump
✅ Swipe down = slide
✅ Double tap = hoverboard
✅ Run into power-ups to activate
